Our business was established in New Jersey in 2003 and has provided outstanding antique and vintage lighting as well as restoration services to many customers across the country. Many of our customers are repeat buyers who tell us they're extremely satisfied with our lighting.

Our philosophy is that home decor items like carpet, wallpaper, lamps, and other furnishings are replaced relatively often, but antique light fixtures last a lifetime. The entire scheme of a room is likly to be changed several times during the life of the average light fixture. So we encourage you to choose a fixture as a comparatively permanent room mark. Consider it the centerpiece around which the room's effect is built. A light fixture should be worthy of that role. It should be shapely, beautifully finished, but unostentatiously elegant. We try to bring back the original beauty with all of our antique and vintage lighting. We research the history behind each fixture and aim for  99% of the parts to be original on all of our restorations.

When choosing a vintage or antique light fixture for your home, please be very careful. You should research the lights, ask questions, and take a good look at the photographs. As with any product on the market, there are fixtures that some sellers will call vintage or antique, but are what I call "Frankenstein lighting". This is lighting that has been put together with parts from two or more different fixtures to make a single Frankenstein fixture. It is not antique; it is not presented in its historical exactness. Instead, it is  someone's creation. Antique lighting is an investment, so choose wisely.

We hope you enjoy our new Web site!
